INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY(IT) INTERN
An ICT Intern Position with a great learning opportunity to contribute to the work of Global Plus Publishing ICT Unit with an immediate start. the intern will be asked to support the unit with the following duties:
- Assisting with troubleshooting computer hardware and software
- Assisting with cloning and Software installations and configurations
- Setting up computer workstations
- Setting up teleconference & video conference meetings
- Mobile phones configurations and troubleshooting
- Ad hoc end-user support via email, IM, phone, or in-person
- Ensuring requests are properly opened, resolved in a timely manner, documented, and closed in the ticketing system
- Other similar duties as assigned by Supervisor
Educational qualifications
- Currently enrolled in, or completed, a university, Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND) degree.
Languages
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
Work experience
- Experience in and/or understanding of Computer (laptop/desktop), hardware and software, Microsoft Office suite.
